When donated an email is sent out from Paypal right away, typically within minutes to confirm your donation. Within 48 hours another email is sent out including your software or images. Is there a demo version of UltraFocal+Pro and/or UltraTAG+Pro I can try?

 

For several reasons we can not provide demo versions. However, on the website you can download UltraTAG+Lte a lite version of UltraTAG+Pro and UltraFocal+Lte a lite version of UltraFocal+Pro.

Is UltraFocal+Pro compatible with Photoshop CS5 on Mac/Windows?

 

UltraFocal+Pro is fully compatible with Adobe Photoshop 6 to CS4 as well as CS5 on Windows XP, Vista, 7, Mac PowerPC and Intel-based Macintosh computers using Mac OS X (Tiger and Leopard).

Is UltraFocal+Pro compatible with Photoshop Elements?

 

No, the current release is not compatible with any of the Photoshop Element versions!

I use the Unsharp Mask tool for sharpening. What advantages does UltraFocal+Pro have?

 

The Unsharp Mask filter has some disadvantages that UltraFocal+Pro doesn't have. Unsharp Mask amplifies noise and induces color shifts which UltraFocal+Pro by default keep noise and colors constant. Other weak points of the Unsharp Mask filter are the tendency of producing artifacts and halos along the edges. These artifacts and halos might sometimes not be very visible for the untrained eye, but if you take a closer look (at a zoom of 100%) you can easily see them. UltraFocal+Pro does not produce any artifacts or halos like Unsharp Mask and gives you a very natural looking sharpness.

How does UltraFocal+Pro compare to in-raw converter sharpening?

 

Todays digital RAW-Converters mostly have limited in-raw sharpening capabilities, which is even more true for high-ISO shots. They don't apply any sophisticated sharpening methods. Therefore it is generally recommended to reduce in-raw sharpening to a minimum.

What is the main difference between UltraFocal+Pro and other sharpening tools that use special sharpening methods?

 

UltraFocal+Pro uses an automatised multi pass sharpening technique with up to six passes to achieve high quality results. The use of UltraFocal+Pro is much easier and faster than manual methods or with other Tools at comparable sharpness and quality. Moreover, you do not need to be an Photoshop Expert!

Does UltraTAG+Pro work on both Mac and Windows platforms?

 

UltraTAG+Pro is available for both Mac and Windows platforms for every application supported. The only exceptions would be for those applications that only work on a single platform such as Apple Aperture on a Mac OS.
