About
In 1977 I started to take black and white pictures using a Nikon FM SLR with a 50mm f/1.4 lens. In 1992 I switched to Minolta with the professional level 9xi SLR camera. Eight years later I purchased a Nikon Coolpix 990 digital camera, which I quickly found to be way too limiting so I started over in 2005 using the Canon digital camera system. Today my photographs and images are created and processed with assistance from :
- Camera and lenses from Canon
- Camera tripod system from Sachtler
- Think Tank photo backpack and travel pack
- Lenovo Thinkpad and Lubuntu operating system
- Eizo wide color gamut photography monitor
- Darktable photography workflow and raw developer
- PhotoLine digital image processing application
For various reasons I have completely stopped using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom and Microsoft Windows.
